Wateringbury CE Primary School
Wateringbury is a Church of England primary school at the heart of our village. The school motto, Learning, Growing Achieving…Our journey together, draws all of us – pupils, staff, governors, parents and the wider community – together in a pursuit of excellence which values spiritual as well as academic development.
We are committed to providing a high-quality education for all pupils within an inclusive Christian setting. We want each child to achieve the highest standards of which he or she is capable – and to experience the joy and satisfaction that this brings. Our Christian values of Love, Peace, Wisdom, Forgiveness, Compassion and Justice inform all we do together – both in the classroom, around school and beyond the school gates.
Wateringbury CE Primary School is situated in the beautiful Medway valley, alongside the river and railway line. We use our geographical setting to inspire a love of the outdoors in our children and we use the railway as much as possible for school visits around the county and to London. We are also fortunate to enjoy a large outdoor space that includes a playing field, two playgrounds, a garden and a nature area with ponds.
