We run a full range of primary and secondary teacher training courses leading to the internationally recognised PGCE qualification.  Our primary training course will train you in the 5-11 age range and our secondary in the 11-18 age range.  Teaching across these age ranges, including ‘A’ level for secondary trainees, will fully equip you to teach effectively in primary and secondary schools and help you secure your first teaching job.

For Primary teacher training apply through UCAS for Claremont Primary School where successful applicants will be placed within our partnership of schools across Kent and East Sussex.

For Secondary teacher training apply through UCAS to either Bennett Memorial Diocesan School (based in Tunbridge Wells)  or the Wealden Partnership of East Sussex Schools which includes Heathfield Community College, Uckfield Community College, Beacon Community College (Crowborough) and Uplands Community College (Wadhurst).

Bennett Memorial offer teacher training places with Teach Kent & Sussex in art & design, biology, chemistry, computer science, design technology, English, geography, history, mathematics, modern languages (French and German), music, physics Classics (Latin) and Religious Education.

The Wealden Partnership offer teacher training places with Teach Kent & Sussex in biology, chemistry, design technology, English, mathematics, Modern Languages and physics.
