As you train to teach there are a variety of ways in which you can receive financial support.

Firstly, decide whether you wish to apply for a School Direct ‘training’ route place or a School Direct ‘salaried place.’ If you opt for the ‘training’ route you can apply for a variety of tax free bursaries or scholarships. If you opt for the ‘salaried’ route you will receive a salary paid to you by your lead school.

* Maths – you’ll receive two additional early-career payments of £5k each in your third and fifth year of teaching.
